02 / PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT:
CUSTOM SELL SHEETS

Westendorf products are known for being premium and packed full of features. With their wide product assortment, it was important to ensure a buyer or customer knew exactly what they were getting with their purchase. I created several custom sell sheets to help explain the benefits of each item or promotion in more detail.

  1. Allowed sales team to focus on specific items with the customer rather than flipping through 100+ page catalog
  2. Broke down premium features and information for customer to more easily digest and understand
  3. Enhanced even the smallest of benefits that can sometimes be glossed over
  4. Helped ensure the customer would receive the correct product for them and be satisfied with the purchase

03 / DEEP DIVE:
TRANSLATING COMPLEX CONCEPTS

One of my favorite aspects of my time at Westendorf was working directly with the president on new products and promotions. The "80th Anniversary Customer Appreciation WL-42 Loader" always stands out in my mind specifically.

The original WL-42 is one of Westendorf's flagship loaders and the president of the company wanted to introduce an upgraded version to thank the current WL-42 owners. Not only would they receive a brand new loader with upgraded features, but he wanted to throw in some of Westendorf's best attachments and accessories as well.

Despite being a huge deal for customers, everything that was included in the promotion was quite the mouthful for the sales team to explain. Customers were confused what exactly they were buying and why it was beneficial.

I created the infographic shown, along with supplemental email and direct-mail campaigns, to help detail every aspect of the deal in a clear format. The sales team was able to walk the customer through the benefits one by one and the customer could more easily digest the information.

In a similar vein, two of Westendorf's most recent loader series, Max and Freedom Mount, boast "16 Big Advantages the Other Guys Just Don't Have!"

Having all of these incredible features wasn't the issue. The loaders themselves are great. But trying to explain 16 different features in one conversation was too much.

To help introduce customers to these "16 Big Advantages," I created an email campaign that featured one of the Advantages each week. This allowed the customer to learn about each of the complex features individually, without being as overwhelming. Plus, customers could connect with specific Advantages that were maybe more applicable to them than others and reach out for more information.
